Nürnberg forscht is a Citizen Science Project for a diverse urban society. I was responsible for creating the film summarizing the results: “How do people deal with racism?”
Citizen science refers to scientific research conducted by members of the general public. Citizens who are personally affected by issues such as racism take on the role of scientists and participate in research processes even without prior academic experience.
The style of the film is collage-like and colorful, to opt for a diverse cityscape. The three protagonists of the film represent the many researchers who continue to explore the topic of racism throughout the film.
